OpenStudy (samigupta8):

six forces 9.81 N each acting at a point are coplanar.if the angles between neighbouring forces are equal then the resultant is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Doesn't the question state 5 forces acting at a point rather than 6?

OpenStudy (samigupta8):

nooo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For six forces, it is easy. The resultant will be zero because for every vector ,we have a vector of equal magnitude but opposite direction. I think for 5 forces it will be zero too. But the proof is more complicated.

Also all the forces should either be pointing inwards or outwards from the point.
