But for design, use Photosop or Coreldraw :))

What type of product?

It's depends, if your product is a machine or solid material, a very good software is Solidworks for create a model in 3D or Inventor, and then you can use a software for image for create a cool exposure, use photoshop or other software like gimp, photoscape.
