Using the complementary angle theorem, I have: tan(π/12)=cot(π/2-π/12)=cot5π/12. How does (π/2-π/12) = 5π/12?

Since I posted this question I figured out the answer. I didn't realize that it was just writing the 75 degree angle as 5pi/12. Thanks to all anyway.
