Can someone please help. It says, Determine the sum of the geometric series. 96000-48000+24000-.....+375. Can someone help me solve it.

Yes exactly :D So the sum of an infinite geometric series assuming the absolute value of the common ratio is less than 1 would be given by this formula \[\Large S=\frac{a}{1-r}\] where a is the first term in the series and r is the common ratio ^.^

oh okay, so I would just have to sub in the common ratio and the first term using this formula and I would get the sum
