Really need help with homeworkkkk!!!!
I can try and help.
1) a # number cube (1-6) is tossed and the following spinner is spun. a) how many different outcomes are possible?
Number of different numbers on number cube (6) * number of unique outcomes on the spinner.
the spinner has the letters A B and C
Ok, so multiply the number of numbers on the number cube(6) times the number of letters on the spinner (3) to get your answer
So there are 3 different outcomes on the spinner. 1A 2A 3A 4A 5A 6A 1B 2B 3B 4B 5B 6B 1C 2C 3C 4C 5C 6C
OO thanks!
@tonipoo610 No problem! I'm glad to help! :)
because the act of rolling the number cube does not influence the spinner, we just multiply the number of outcomes for each one. You'd get the same result if you did them in the other order, too.
