what are the solutions of the equation (x-3)(x+8)=0? how do you solve it???

zero property of multiplication

basically for (x-3)(x+8) to be equal to zero either (x-3) or (x+8) must be equal to zero that means we can write 2 equations from it x-3=0 & x+8=0 now you just solve for the 2 different x's
