solution to the inequality y > 3x – 4? A. 2,2 B. -1, -9 C. 1, 1 D. 0, -6

hartnn (hartnn):

you can plug in the pairs from the choices, in the inequality, to see which one satisfies it. like, take A. 2,2 --->x=2,y=2 plug it in y>3x-4 2 > 3(2)-4 2> 6-4 2> 2 this is NOT true, since, 2=2 and 2 is not greater than 2. so, 2,2 is NOT the solution. can you do similar thing for other choices ??

i got it already
