Do you want to solve the system ?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

You have a system of equations Start by taking that second equation...and solving for 'y' subtract 3 from both sides...and add 2x to both sides y = 2x - 3 Now you can substitute that (2x - 3) in for 'y' in the first equation to solve for 'x'
