help!!!!! i ve a project on isolating gentamycin resistant gene from E.fecalis....how can it be isolated from the plasmid Dna ...how to identify the gene....is it by endonuclease restriction ...???

the isolation can be done with endonuclease restriction enzymes once you've identified it's sequence and position. As for the identification, are you given the sequence?
