solve each equation by factoring y squared + 3y+2=0

Set up some parenthesis like this, ( ) ( ), then put the as the first term in each, what you would multiply together to get the first term of your equation. Then put the second term, inside the parenthesis, as whatever you multiply to get the last term of your equation, AND, add to get the middle term of your equation. Then FOIL and verify your answer.
