Match each example with the property it illustrates. The properties are: multiplicative property of zero, additive inverse, multiplicative inverse, additive identity, or multiplicative identity. a. 8*1=8 b. 4*(1/4)=1 c. 3+0=3 d. 5+(-5)=0 e. 10*0=0

OpenStudy (jim766):

ok some of these you can guess mult prop of zero which letter?

OpenStudy (jim766):

its the only one where you multiply by zero...

OpenStudy (jim766):

identity means the same multiplicative identity which one has you multiply by something and it stays the same

OpenStudy (jim766):

identity means the same additive identity which one has you add something and the number stays the same?

OpenStudy (jim766):

additive inverse which one show you adding the inverse (the opposite sign)

OpenStudy (jim766):

multiplicative inverse which one shows you mult by the reciprocal of a number (flip the fraction)

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

@Jim766 ...pretty much just gave you the answers....good explaining Jim :)
