Ashley made 168 for 12 hrs of work at the same rate, how much would she make for 17 hrs of work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide your number of dollars made by the number of hours worked, then take that number and times it by 17 to get the amount she would get. So: 168/12 = x then x*17= the amount

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

$$ hrs 168 12 x 17 "x" = the diagonal numbers multiplied, OVER the remaining number or (168 x 17) / 12
