Sarla made a drawing of a geometric figure for a fabric print. The figure was a quadrilateral with a pair of angles measuring 40° each. If the figure she drew is a concave polygon, which of these could be the measures of the other two angles? 210°, 80° 170°, 60° 230°, 50° 160°, 120°

@jim_thompson5910 help?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the polygon is concave, so at least one angle must be larger than 180 degrees

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

also, all 4 angles must add to 360 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so A or C

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yep, so far, so good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get 360 when i add them up

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

which angles are you adding up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sorry :p it's C

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

for choice A 210+80+40+40 = 370 so that doesn't work

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

for choice C 230+50+40+40 = 360 so that does, nice job

OpenStudy (anonymous):

230+50+40+40=360

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay thanks again!
