find the ratio between the shaded region and the region. I mean \[\frac{numberofshadedregion}{numberofthewholegraph}\]
I got 24/56
How would that be simplified? @Loser66

3/7 isn't one of the answers listed..
there's 5/8, 2/5, 3/8, and 3/5
Ohh you miss counted the first part..
Its not 24/56 its 24/64
It's 7*8 to get the whole number

huh..I counted and it is 64. Weird.
Nope you actually multiply the length of one side by the length of the other.. That gives 8*8 = 64
What would it be then simplified?
Simplifying gives 3/8
Thanks
