y = x^2 + 8x + 12 y = (x + 4)^2 -16 +12 y = (x + 4)^2 - 4 Vertex (-4, -4) x -intercept is when y = 0, (-2, 0), (6, 0) y - intercept is when x = 0, (0, 12)
