a topic and a thesis rent exactly the same, the topic tells you what the paper is about, and the thesis will tell you the purpose behind the paper. it will answer a question. 

and as far as your paper goes, i would compare and or contrast all of the different learning styles not just two, unless thats the assignment, it will give your paper a little more
