sin(-x) = -sinx you should know the value of sin(270).. these are standard values.. if you dont, you could graph sin(x). http://intmstat.com/trigonometric-graphs/10sinx.gif looks like this.. so sin(270) or sin(3pi/4) is -1.. so sin(-270)=1..
