In a 2D peak finding problem what are we actually looking for,global peak or realtive peak

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):
If it says "the peak" or "highest peak" then global. If it says "peaks" or any other indication of plural or more than one answer, all the locals. If it says displayed peak, then highest of the ones in the range of the display, which may not be the global for the equation that makes the peak.
