Well, consider what a cyanobacterium is and how cyanobacteria obtain their energy source. Cyanobacteria are abundant in aquatic environments and obtain their energy through photosynthesis. As a result of photosynthesis the concentration of carbon dioxide and oxygen will change. Review the intermediate steps of photosynthesis to determine how these two gases will change.
