Simplify: 6a^2-2c+2a^2-2c^2

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

You can combine like terms.... terms that have an 'a²' terms that have a 'c²' and terms that just have a 'c' So you have 6a^2-2c+2a^2-2c^2 you can only combine 6a² + 2a² because then you have just -2c and -2c² (not the same so it would look like 8a² - 2c² - 2c
