i dont get what the white and black points mean...

Black point means that the value is included, and white point means that the value is not included. When you have x>=2 for example, you put a black point on 2 and paint the line after 2. If you have x > 2 , you put a white point on 2 and paint the line after 2, because 2 is not included.

Do you get it ? In the inequation of the question the signal is >=, so, you will use a black point.

4x - 16 >= -12 4x >= -12 + 16 4x >= 4 x >= 1 You will need a closed circle because of the equal sign. Greater then 1 means shading to the right. So you line graph will have a closed circle and it will be shaded to the right. You can find out which one it is now.
