an oven used in a restaurant burns pizzas 5% of the time. One evening, there were 40 pizzas ordered. Find the probability that none were burnt. Please help!!

It would be 95/100 *40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but this doesnt give a fraction, how do i get a fraction for probability?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(95/100)^40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Each pizza has a (95/100) chance of not being burned. The cooking of each pizza is independent of the other pizzas, so the chance of none being burned is the product of each individual pizza not being burned: (95/100)^40 which is approximately 0.1285 or 12.85%

All good now, @kait11 ?
