aim: To investigate the effects of light on plant growth.

the lab is to place a potted plant in a box, bore a hole to the side and observe for 5 days how it bends towards that hole where the sunlight is. The problem is i don't know what suppose to happen on day 1,2,3,4 and 5. i did not set the apparatus up and now im doomed. whats suppose to happen on these 5 days??

Well plants grow to light. If you bore a hole in the box, the plant will probably grow towards the hole instead of up so that it can receive light to perform photosynthesis

Day 1----Apparatus was set up. NO change.
I'm stuck up to there.

Example:
Day 2---- plant grew 5 cm towards the hole in the box.
Day 6---- Plant grew through the hole.

Like that. But i assume you need to do this lab?

Could be, depends on the type of plant you have, how fast it grows, if it can live without light better then other plants...

well its raining alot in my country..hardly any sunlight for the last couple of days. Should i mention that as a limitation in the discussion??

there is always sunlight, else you couldn't see anything outside. More sunlight will make the plant grow faster.
