MEDAL AND FAN!!!! Multiply the two binomials: (2x – 2)(2x + 2) A. 2x2 – 4x + 4 B. 42x2 + 4 C. 4x - 4 D. 4x2 – 4

OpenStudy (thesecret20111):

That would be the simplified version of this: 2x*2x+2x*2+-2*2x+-2*2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (thesecret20111):

What you do is multiply the first term in the first bracket by the two terms in the other brackets then times the second term in the first brackets by the two terms in the second brackets and add them together.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so FOIL right?

OpenStudy (thesecret20111):

Yes that's a good method to use.

OpenStudy (thesecret20111):

Did you get the final answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x^2+4x-4x-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which simplified is 4x^2-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so d:D

OpenStudy (thesecret20111):
