For MLA in-text citations: the material I am quoting in my paper is taken from an official Catholic Church document, and the excerpt I am quoting has a footnote attached to it. How am I supposed to cite (more specially, in-text cite) this excerpt without having to look up the footnote?

just quote the site you got the information from. i dont think quoting the footnote is required, thats a little deep even for MLA
