OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Look to see if the units cancel out, you can treat units like numbers when dividing for example, 1 kg*1000g/1kg = 1000g the kg cancels out in the fraction and you are left with the unit grams, if you wanted to convert back to grams you would flip the fraction to cancel out grams 1000g*1kg/1000g = 1kg grams cancel out its as easy as setting up a ratio and then multiplying it by the number you are converting. That is why I used the ratio, 1000g/1kg to convert kg to grams and 1kg/1000g to convert to grams to kg knowing 1kg = 1000g

OpenStudy (wyattp17):

so what is it c
