i know this is a science question but i need help Why does the earth need a carbon cycle?
If you know it's a science question then why are you posting it in math? In any event, you've made an error in terminology that drives me up a wall. It's not your fault; even scientists do it. The earth doesn't "need" a carbon cycle. The word "need" is an anthropomorphization of a chemical process. The earth can't "think" or "feel", so it has no "need" for anything. A better question would be "how does the carbon cycle work?" And even there, after all my huffing and puffing, I'm not in a position to give you a satisfactory answer. I don't know enough about it. Which is another excellent reason why this question belongs in one of the earth sciences groups.
It's rude to PM people and then block them so they can't reply. So I'll respond to your PM here: I gave you an honest answer to the best of my ability. How do you figure I was being "rude"? As for the "right" science room, here are 3 forums which could deal with the carbon cycle far, far better than mathemetics: http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Chemistry http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Biology http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Physics
im sorry if im being rude to you the question just sounds rude
but it is true that im new at this so i dont know where to go
I assure you, I was in no way trying to be rude. I suppose I may have been overly blunt, but believe me, if I was trying to be rude, your eyes would be bleeding. :-)
