Can anybody please tell me the formula for finding the volume of a square pyramid, I've looked all through my notes and can't find it at all.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Volume of Any Pyramid V = (Area of Base)*(Height)/3

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

In this case, the base is a square, so you can further break it down to Volume of Square Pyramid V = (s^2)*(h)/3 where s = side length of base h = height

Thanks!
