can you please suggest most fastest downloader ... I have to download a book, it has about 6056 pages... Normal downloading will take time . Help me by suggesting the fastest free downloader which I can download, and use for downolading.

Please help

I will be thankful for. I have to give this soft copy of book to my class teacher. Help me.

You haven't specified what type of download you're doing, the one I offer may do jack, similar to genius' links.

I personally prefer Download-Helper if you're downloading a file off the webpage, it downloads directly from the source. It's an add-on for Firefox and I think some other browsers.

That will open the add-ons menu, in the top right of the screen is a search bar that says "Search all add-ons", the file you want is called 'DownloadHelper' with the version # after it, mine is 4.9.15.

Okay so do you see the icon it's given you? When pages have data on the page that their loading, it will show the direct source it's coming from. It's extremely useful, but because I don't know what type of download it is, it may not even work for you.

I have looked at many "download accelerators" and found them to be total junk. What it really takes is a good connection, a smaller file, or the hosting site to have a better connection. If none of these are available, a program can only optimize a little.

For example, the HTML and Text version of open books on http://www.gutenberg.org are faster because they are smaller. Another example is how LINUX distributions are generally faster through torrents than direct. The servers they host them on are slow, but a torrent can pull from multiple servers at the same time, allowing you to max your connection. And if your connection is the slow part, you are just stuck.... which is why I download at work rather than home. Since I work for my ISP, it is not a big deal.
