What is the simplified form of 2/x^2-x minus 1/x
x^2-x-1/x is whole in the denominator
\(\large \frac{2}{x^2-x} - \frac{1}{x} \)
\(\large \frac{2}{x(x-1)} - \frac{1}{x} \)
then times the other side by x-1 ?
Yes !!!
\(\large \frac{2}{x(x-1)} - \frac{x-1}{x(x-1)}\)
since denominators are common, we can add numerators
\(\large \frac{2-(x-1)}{x(x-1)} \)
\(\large \frac{2-x+1}{x(x-1)} \)
\(\large \frac{3-x}{x(x-1)} \)
3-x/x(x-1)
