Okay so for that one

We should get rid of that whole fraction on the left side....Notice how it is being divided by -2.....so to cancel that out...we need to multiply both sides of the equation by -2

\[-2 \times \frac{ 4b + 8 }{ -2 } = 4b + 8\]
This is what we have on the left side....remember we also need to multiply the right side by -2 so

\[10 \times -2 = -20\]

So now altogether we have

\[4b + 8 = -20\]
