There are many factors in life that characterizes who a person truly is, many of them are created through interactions with other individuals while others are part of their traits. Olaudah Equiano is an African man who is merged into the English community through slavery, as opposed to other African slaves, Equiano becomes familiar with the British culture by learning about their principle of religion, education, overall appearance, and manners. He was transformed from a slave of no identity to a well-educated man.
