The student Council is making six right triangle pennants to promote school spirit. Each right triangle is 9 inches high sand 2 feet long. In square feet, what is the total area of the six pennants? How do i find this problem?

Not enough information |dw:1371190602682:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be 1/2*9*24=108?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Heheh...funny. They're both the same area, so I guess it doesn't make much difference after all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol so that is right then? the 1/2*9*24=108? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, 108 sq in is correct for both of them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you :)

Thanks for the medal, Sono, although I think I kind of bungled my way along on the problem. I'm giving a medal back because I figure you did all the work. All I did was check your math. :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aw, thank you! :D but you were still a big help though haha :)
