If she studies hard in math, she will succeed. What is the inverse of this statement? If she does not study hard in math, she will succeed. If she does not study hard in math, she will not succeed. If she studies hard in math, she will not succeed. If she will succeed, then she does not study hard in math.

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

inverse is the opposite

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

on both sides

okay thanks

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i always have to rethink inverse. in my head an inverse swaps sides .... y = x + 3 has the inverse: y - 3 = x in my head thats relates to changing x into y ... a swap of sides. in logic construct i always have to think "thats wrong" and do the negating stuff.
