Identify the graph of y = 2x^2 – 5 and its inverse

OpenStudy (goformit100):

The graph will be Parabole

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait, i know what that means, but yes, i already knew that though, how do i put it on the graph?

OpenStudy (goformit100):

ya

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take few values of x and y (say 0,1,2,3.....) you get few points respectively for x and y, then plot it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, but how do i get the values of x and y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

say , take x=0 you get a y1 valule; then take y=0 you get an x1 value Now plot this (x1,y1)...so on for few more values so that you can make a parabola

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, now how do i find the inverse?
