well....Florida seceded from the Union on Jan. 10, 1861
Alabama seceded on Jan. 11,1861
Georgia seceded on Jan. 19, 1861
Texas seceded on Feb. 1, 1861
The Battle of Fort Sumter occurred on April 14 - 16, 1861.
