How do I find the domain /range and how do I graph it using this equation? f(x)=1(over)x+1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Domain will be all values of x where the function. The domain here will be:\[\bf x \ne -1\]Because at x = -1, we have a vertical asymptote. The range will be:\[\bf y \ne 0\]Because there is a horizontal asymptote at y = 0 since the degree of the denominator is greater than that of the numerator. @s_lane_95
