Describe the number of circulatory loops, atria and ventricles between the five organisms (Fish, Amphibians, Reptiles, Birds, and Mammals)?

o-O That was fast.
@thomaster peut vous simplifier une partie de ce pour moi?
Well, there is not much to simplify. We (mammals and birds) have two circulatory systems which are connected at the heart. One which takes oxygen poor blood to the lungs back to the heart, and one which takes the now oxygen rich blood from the heart, through the body to give it oxygen and carry away CO2. |dw:1371238900450:dw| fish only have one circulatory system which goes through both the gills (to take up oxygen) and the rest of the body at once. amphibians have only one ventricle so the oxygen rich and poor blood get mixed up in the heart again in reptiles this ventricle is already partially divided so the blood is less mixed up. go further in evolution (birds and mammals) et voila, c'est deux ventricule
