1)First draw graph of (1/3)^x It will be something like as shown in attachment 2)Then Stretch the graph 3^3=27 times along y axis (This doesn't change the graph much ) 3) Shift the graph drawn on the second step downwards by 2 units (Graph will intersect the Y axis at (0,-1) Now This will be the final one
F(x)=a^x is the base function here. Function given can be written as F(x)=[(1/3)^x *(3)^3]-2
