Prove that every two consecutive integers are coprime.

OpenStudy (goformit100):

I too two numbers n and other as (n+1) what to do with it now ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since n+1 - n = 1, therefore every factor of one must also be a factor of the two numbers, but the only factor of 1 is 1 therefore they are coprime. hope this helps.

OpenStudy (goformit100):

ok then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

therefore they have only 1 as acommon factor, therefore they are coprime.

OpenStudy (goformit100):
