Okay, here's a trick for quickly identifying which graph goes with which equation, or graphing them yourself. \[y=x+5\]Plug in 0 for \(x\) and find the matching \(y\). This gives you the x-intercept. \[y=0+5\]So (0,5) is one point on this line. Now do the same with \(y\) to get the y-intercept. \[0=x+5\]\[x=-5\]So (-5,0) is a point on this line. If graphing, plot those two points and draw a line through them. If looking at a collection of graphs, find the one that crosses the axes at those two points. Hopefully, just by doing that one line you can eliminate most of the answer choices. If there are still some left, do the same with the other line to narrow it down.
