I am missing something simple with this prime number in the denominator. Derive....g(x)=(4x+5)/(5x+6')....I know the quotient rule but what do I do with 6 prime in the denominator?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

derive? do you mean differentiate?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

and by 6' do you mean the derivative of f(x) = 6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes...derivative...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is the derivative of six prime = 0?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):
