OpenStudy (wesdg1978):

lim x-->inf (x^2+5x+15)/(x^3+4x^2+19) How do you find the limit showing all of the steps?

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

If both numerator and denominator are polynomials, and the of the numerator is less than the degree of the denominator, the limit as x goes to infinity is

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

"the DEGREE of the numerator"

OpenStudy (wesdg1978):

@NoelGreco Zero? I divided everything by x^3 and got (0+0+0)/(1+0+0) or 0/1 which is 0 correct?

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

That is another, longer way to do it.
