Solve.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-\frac{ 4 }{ 9 } w = -\frac{ 11 }{ 12 }\]

hartnn (hartnn):

multiply both sides by -9/4 so that only w remains on left...

hartnn (hartnn):

so whats \(-\dfrac{11}{12} \times -\dfrac{ 9}{4} =... ?\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ -99 }{ 48 }\] right.?

hartnn (hartnn):

minus multipled by minus becomes plus 2 negatives becomes a positive

hartnn (hartnn):

so it'll be +99/48

hartnn (hartnn):
