OpenStudy (mathstudent55):
Quick review:
tanA = opp/adj
cscC = 1/sinC
sinC = opp/hyp
hyp = c; c^2 = a^2 + b^2
OpenStudy (jdoe0001):
@woodardman as suggested by mathstudent55 , find the missing leg/side
once that's found, use the trig identities as suggested with the proper values
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So the answers sqroot74/ 21?

well, what did you get for the missing leg/side?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Wait what did you get/?
OpenStudy (jdoe0001):
I got a number :P
OpenStudy (jdoe0001):
which I hope yours is the same, unless of course you're just "picking off" choices
OpenStudy (anonymous):
What do youmean?Its there are no chices tochoose from

one sec, lemme recheck mine
OpenStudy (jdoe0001):
so tan(a) will be 7/5
csc(c) will be \(\sqrt{74}\) / 5
OpenStudy (jdoe0001):
then you'd just solve for "x" from
$$
\cfrac{7}{5}-\cfrac{\sqrt{74}}{5}=3x
$$
OpenStudy (jdoe0001):
is not what you have thus far though
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yea :D Exactly
