The quote below was written in 1950 by Fleet Admiral William D. Leahy, Chief of Staff to President Truman: "I was not taught to make war in that fashion, and wars cannot be won by destroying women and children." What conclusion can be drawn from this quote? The Allied bombing missions during World War II avoided civilian casualties. The decision to drop the atomic bomb had little support among military leaders. Some military leaders felt that dropping the atomic bomb was not ethical. Some military leaders resigned in opposition to dropping the atomic bomb
It's either "Some military leaders felt that dropping the atomic bomb was not ethical. " or " Some military leaders resigned in opposition to dropping the atomic bomb "
I would think that the answer would be " The decision to drop the A-Bomb had little support amoung military leaders." because the A-bomb was dropped in 1945. after five years have passed then we began to see the effects it had. Not only did people die from the original blasts, people also died from radiation poisoning and other varios effects .
