Python 3.3.2 Windows X86-64 MSI Installer does not work in Windows 7 professional 64-bit. What installer version I can use?

OpenStudy (espex):

Use the 2.7.5 version: http://www.python.org/download/releases/2.7.5/

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

If for some specific reason you need 3.3.2, did you try the 64 bit version? If you are doing one of the online Python classes, many use 2.x, so 2.7 might be a simpler choice. But if you need 3.x for some other reason, then the 64 bit might do it. And, if the 64 bit does not, there are other options, like the ActivePython Community Edition.

I will admit that 3.1 is some work getting used to it,but if you are willing to try trial and error method, I'd recommend this version because I tried to download 2.x yesterday and it is incompatable with Vista (my system). Let me know if this helps you out?

I installed python version 2.7.5 (64-bit) and it worked very well on Windows 7 Professional (64-bit). Thanks
