For the people who took "Introduction to 6.00" with John Guttag, what did you think of scoping in python when he first started talking about it? I understand the concept but I think that it's tedious to think through the algorithm.

It frequently is tedious to think through an algorithm, but in the long run it will probably save you enough time debugging that you'll finish sooner.
