The length of two sides of the triangle is the same as the radius of the circle because points X and Z lie on the arc. Angle YXZ measures greater than 90˚ because point Y lies beyond the arc. Two angles in the triangle are congruent because segment XY and segment XZ are of the same length. The length of XY is greater than the length of XZ because Y lies beyond the arc and Z lies on the arc.
