Terrell and Mindi are organizing a neighborhood skateboarding competition and need to build a mini ramp. Terrell can build the ramp in 12 hours. Mindi can build the ramp in 6 hours. Which shows the equation and solution for the time it will it take Terrell and Mindi to build the ramp if they work together? Round your answer to the nearest hour, if necessary.

for each hour you calculate how much of the total is built. in one hour T (terrell) has built 1/12 of the ramp and M (mind) has built 1/6. When you add theses fractions 3/12 of the ramp is built in one hour. So in order to get 12/12 or one whole it would take a total of four hours.
